The white stork is part of the European folk consciousness in both rural, village and city life. All European nations maintain many traditions of helpfulness  towards the storks in their migrations and take an interest in their migrations, courtship rituals, fighting, nesting and fledging.

Whether it is a migratory path plotted and entered into the flight-plan of a major commercial airline or  materials for nest repair that are gathered and  helpfully left out in the spring with gifts of food and little figurines, the storks belong to the European social fabric.   A church with a nesting pair in the bell tower does not ring the bells until the young are out of the nest. Wagons and carts laden with hay or produce will make serious detours around a mating pair engaged in their courtship dance in the middle of the road.  

I would go so far as to say that the level of European civilization can be measured by its degree of helpfulness to the white stork.

In Salzburg, birthplace of Mozart and centerpiece of Baroque architecture, the Austrian firefighters  are particularly attentive.

The fire fighters undertake to clean and repair stork nests before the spring migration returns.

Then there are the socially engineered migrations to Northwest Europe organised by the EUSSR and its Marxist flunky states for native European replacement.

Former Labour Cabinet Minister, Lord Peter Mandelson admits that his government deliberately engineered mass migration to Britain. And a succession of British governments engaged in economic subversion by continuing to make it difficult for Britons to work so that the replacement population could take their jobs.
