Pope Francis convened the whole people of God in Synod Oct 10, 2021 to work out the synodal pathway for the Church.

There is no need to create another Church, but to create a different church Francis says before Synod.

So, how to navigate the next year of synodal pathways and mission? First, you have to understand it, and to do that, Michael explains how the Synod actually dates back to Vatican II, specifically to the close of the Council when 40 Council fathers went down into the catacombs and took an oath to destroy the Church of Christ the King and to build the “church of the poor.”

How is that working out so far, Eminences? This is it! This is the foundation stone of the entire Synod.

Cardinal Mueller EWTN 1 year ago said on World Over with Raymond Arroyo – This Synod – the universal session – October 2023 will be a hostile take over of the Church. And we must resist.

The Synod’s final document punts the discussion of female ordination into 2024, and never even mentions the term “LGBTQ+ people”. Why is this? Is it a victory… or exactly on schedule? This was, they claim, the Synod on SYNODALITY. Which means, of course, that the process of synodal listening and “journeying together in the Spirit” was, in fact, the whole point.

The other take away? Everything is on the table still for the 2024 synod meetings next October.

Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas who regularly attacks the Gay Pride scandal has been dismissed by Pope Francis.

Joseph Strickland, Bishop of Tyler, Texas, in the United States, lacks neither faith nor courage. While he was recently subjected to an apostolic visitation, which apparently was of an inquisitorial nature, he wrote a Pastoral Letter to the faithful in his charge to warn them against the turn taken by the world synod.

It is of course possible that the apostolic visitation carried out in this diocese of 120,000 souls was justified by irregularities or difficulties for which its pastor would be responsible, at least partially.

But the fact that Bishop Strickland regularly attacks the Gay Pride scandal and that he has publicly denounced Fr. James Martin, the Jesuit who supports homosexual marriage (and a special guest of the Pope at the next synod), undoubtedly had nothing to do with this visit. Without forgetting that one of the two visitors, Bishop Gerald Kicanas, is, to say the least, “controversial.”

A Vigorous Pastoral Letter

This background highlights the courage of the prelate who, under these conditions, did not hesitate to write a pastoral letter warning about the possible results of the next synod which is to take place in October 2023.

The Bishop of Tyler takes up St. Paul’s famous sharp address to the Galatians: “I wonder that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ, unto another gospel.  Which is not another, only there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema. As we said before, so now I say again: If any one preach to you a gospel, besides that which you have received, let him be anathema,” (Gal. 1:6-9).

Then Bishop Strickland recalls seven fundamental truths for his flock:

1. Christ established One Church-the Catholic Church;
2. all the sacraments are divinely instituted;
3. he Sacrament of matrimony is instituted by God. . . establishing marriage as between one man and one woman;
4. every human person is created in the image and likeness of God, male or female,” citing the impossibility of changing creation (against gender theory),
5. sexual activity outside marriage is always gravely sinful;
6. the falsity of indifferentism – which affirms that “all men and women will be saved regardless of how they live their lives;”
7. ‘in order to follow Jesus Christ, we must willingly choose to take up our cross instead of attempting to avoid it.”
8. The bishop then comes to a warning: “In the weeks and months ahead, many of these truths will be examined as part of the Synod on Synodality. We must hold fast to these truths and be wary of any attempts to present an alternative to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, or to push for a faith that speaks of dialogue and brotherhood, while attempting to remove the fatherhood of God.”

And finally, a note of encouragement— the terms of which have not been heard since the warnings of Archbishop Marcel Lefevre: “Regrettably, it may be that some will label as schismatic those who disagree with the changes being proposed. Be assured, however, that no one who remains firmly upon the plumb line of our Catholic faith is a schismatic.”

“We must remain unabashedly and truly Catholic, regardless of what may be brought forth. We must be aware also that it is not leaving the Church to stand firm against these proposed changes. As St. Peter said, ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life’ (Jn. 6:68).”

“Therefore, standing firm does not mean that we are seeking to leave the Church. Instead, those who propose changes to that which cannot be changed seek to commandeer Christ’s Church, and they are indeed the true schismatics.”

This Letter is particularly clear and strong. The conscience of the bishop expresses itself with all the charity of the father of the flock ready to give up his life for them – his life, that is, his post. This force could be contagious, for which we must pray and hope.

Bishop Athanasius Schneider wrote a new prayer for the Synod on Synodality.

He encourages us all to join together and pray.

Prayer for the 2023 “Synod on Synodality”

Lord Jesus Christ, Our God and Saviour, You are the Head of the Church, Your spotless Bride and Mystical Body. Look mercifully upon the profound distress to which Our Holy Mother Church has been subjected. Doctrinal confusion, moral abomination, and liturgical abuse have, in our day, reached an unprecedented height. “The heathens have come into your inheritance, having defiled your holy temple, and laid Jerusalem in ruins” (Ps 79:1). Churchmen who have lost the true Faith and become promoters of a worldly globalist agenda, are intent on changing Your truths and Commandments, the Divine Constitution of the Church, and the Apostolic tradition.

O Lord, with humble spirit and contrite heart we beseech you, prevent the enemies of the Church from exulting in a victory over the authentic Catholic Church obtained by imposing a counterfeit church under the guise of “synodality”. Stir up Your power, O Lord, and come to the aid of Your Church with Your almighty strength. For where sin and apostasy in the Church abounds, the victory of Your grace will abound the more.

We firmly believe that the gates of Hell will not prevail against Your Church. In this hour, in which our beloved and holy Mother Church is suffering her Golgotha, we promise to remain with her. Graciously accept our interior and exterior sufferings, which we humbly offer in union with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mother of the Church, as a reparation for our own sins and for the sins of sacrilege and apostasy within the Church.

O Lord, send forth your Holy Angels under the command of Saint Michael the Archangel, to bring your heavenly light to the Pope and synod participants, and to frustrate the plans of your enemies within the synod assembly. O Lord, look mercifully upon the little ones in the Church, look upon the hidden souls who sacrifice themselves for the Church, look upon all the tears, sighs and supplications of the true children of the Church, and through the merits of the Immaculate Heart of Your Most Holy Mother, arise, O Lord, and by Your intervention grant Your Church holy shepherds who, imitating Your example, will give their lives for You and Your sheep. O Lord, we beseech You: Through the Blessed Virgin Mary, grant us a holy Pope, zealous in promoting and defending the Catholic Faith, we implore You, grant it! Through the Blessed Virgin Mary, grant us holy and intrepid bishops, we implore You, grant it! Through the Blessed Virgin Mary, grant us holy priests, who are men of God, we implore You, grant it! In You, O Lord, we rest our hope: let us never be put to shame. To You, O Lord Jesus Christ, be given all honour and glory in Your Holy Church. You live and reign with the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit: God, forever and ever. Amen.

“…this has to be one of the saddest past three weeks in the history of the Catholic Church. The abominations that have taken place in Rome, in St. Peter’s are beyond any Catholic’s imagination.

“We have seen the pope, Pope Francis desecrate…desecrate St. Peter’s, the church…. First they desecrated the grounds of the Vatican gardens by having a pagan worship with animists, witchdoctors, everything, worshipping mother earth and so on with the goddess of fertility. And then they had Pope Francis participate with Cardinals and bishops … by walking in a pagan ritual procession into St. Peter’s in a [carrying a pagan idol into the basilica]. And this my friends is totally diabolical and will bring the wrath of God upon us.

“We know that our Lady of Fatima told us that if Russia is not consecrated by the pope in union with all the bishops that Russia would spread her errors throughout the world and nations would be annhilated.

“I believe we are about to experience, unfortunately that, because at this time in the Church nothing can put a stop to this except God himself.

“It reminds me too that after October 13, 1917 when our Lady worked the great miracle of the sun at Fatima in front of 70,000 people. A few days later, St Maximilian Kolbe, the great martyr of Auschwitz, when he was studying in Rome to be a priest, witnessed an unforgettable scene on the two hundredth anniversary of the founding of the Masons. Right under the window of the pope in Vatican square a gigantic banner was carried with the inscriptions:

‘Satan will take over the Vatican’ and ‘The pope will be Satan’s slave’

“At this point St Maximilian was inspired by our Lady to form the Militia of the Immaculate. It is our Lady who crushes the head of the serpent.

“…..What really saddens my heart, my friends, is there is this a lack of reaction , a lack of response on the part of Catholics to the abominations that have taken place – not only in the last three weeks but for the past sixty years since the Second Vatican Council. … This apostasy is the fruit of the Second Vatican Council.
